Interfaith Court Vigils at the Concord Immigration Court
You are invited to join your voice with others from the East Bay faith community as a peaceful and welcoming presence at the Concord Immigration Court on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. The Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity has organized two vigils each day.
Leaders and members of the Contra Costa County and Alameda County faith communities are asked to provide leadership and volunteer at these vigils. Morning sessions are from 7:30-9:30; afternoons from 11:45-2:00.
Step 1: Please use this link to volunteer.
Step 2: Add your name to this Calendar for the shifts you can attend.
These fliers linked below and this web page have more info. Although some of the material mentions vigils only through August, they are, in fact, being scheduled through October.

Concord Immigration Court
There is free “visitor” parking at the courthouse at 1855 Gateway Blvd. But you may also choose to park in the shopping center lot on Willow Pass Road (near Brazilian Steakhouse and Gratitude Coffee). Cross Willow Pass Rd and walk towards the large building that houses the courts. On the Clayton Rd side, you will see a few folks wearing stoles, holding signs, and singing on the “island” on Clayton Road between the parking garage and the building containing the immigration courts.
