InterFaith EarthFest See Hope--Seed Change! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Headline: I-SRV Announces Date and New Location for Third Annual InterFaith EarthFest DANVILLE, CA – January 28, 2025 – Multiple faith congregations throughout the San Ramon Valley continue their commitment to Interfaith relationships and caring for Creation through I-SRV’s third annual InterFaith EarthFest. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, May 4th from 1:00 to 4:30 at Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Danville. Live music, activities, speakers, booths, and rituals will spotlight local eco-success stories, enable us to draw hope from one another, and inspire local commitment to action! This year’s focus receives inspiration from Creation itself and explores the essential practices of interconnectedness, reciprocity, and relationships which are the foundation of a flourishing eco-system and regeneration. Across the wisdom and faith traditions of the world, humanity acknowledges our very existence occurs within the web of relationship. By offering this event, we are inviting people, our congregations, and our collective action in the San Ramon Valley to align with our shared values. Recognizing those who have gone before and our responsibility to those who will come after, we offer EarthFest to spur meaningful action now. See Hope–Seed Change! Tina Neuhausel, President of Sustainable Contra Costa (SCOCO), a premier advocacy organization for sustainable living in our county, describes, “I was filled with encouragement and hope at EarthFest, and deeply moved by the various faith leaders and community members coming together to honor and celebrate our common home. Most of all, it was great to celebrate what we are doing now together! This day made our movement joyous, and therefore our commitment sustainable.” Admission to the event is free and open to all members of the public. The program will have a breadth of activities designed to serve people of all ages, traditions, and backgrounds. The longstanding practice of I-SRV events has been a unique and meaningful source of community and connection for the people in the San Ramon Valley and beyond for nearly three decades.
