Come Spend an Evening with Lesia Pona. Sunday August 17th at 6:00pm. Meet Lesia Pona. Lesia is an artist visiting from (the) Ukraine who specializes in the Vyshyvanka - the Ukrainian embroidered blouse. Through the work of the Pukuttya Folk Art Collective, Lesia and her fellow artists work to keep alive the deeply held traditions of their country. Lesia will be speaking about her work and life in Ukraine. There will be a slide presentation followed by time for questions. The evening is free of charge. Light refreshments will be served.
